I am a Royal Standard Parti Poodle male born on 11/22/19. I am considered Royal because of my size. I weigh 70lbs and l am 27” tall at the withers. l am a parti poodle because of my partially colored markings. I am also a fully registered AKC purebred with a great lineage. l have had genetic testing done, because I am looking to create more healthy and happy Dukes out there in the world! l would be happy to be paired up with another poodle or a different breed (around the same size) to create a designer doodle. I look forward to becoming a part of your family pack!
Woof,
Duke
We are conveniently located in the heart of Delaware. Prior to 2020, we were active members in our town‘s historic society and would participate in open house walk through tours. Our home was built circa 1875 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. We miss sharing our home with the public and making connections with people who came to visit. We are really excited to build a community with others again through Duke Studley and our historic home photography studio.
We offer a variety of options for Duke to become a part of your pack and can discuss which breeding arrangement work best for you and your family.
The stud services we offer depend upon your dog’s breed. Unfortunately, my allergies hinder me from having certain breeds of dogs stay with us. We can only offer over night stays for natural breeding to take place to dogs that are hypoallergenic.
However, after talking to other local breeders, they shared with me how they would have both owners meet and participate in the breeding process outdoors! My partner is luckily not allergic and could assist your dog as well. So if you are local or able to meet a couple of times during your dog’s heat cycle, we could plan a natural breeding together. This is our most cost effect option and only requires our stud fee. Duke loves having company too. It would be so much fun for us to spend some quality time with other proud dog owners and plan for our dogs becoming future parents together.
Another breeding option that we offer is to do an A.I. (artificial insemination). Our local veterinarian offers a side by side A.I. procedure. They do require an office visit to examine your dog prior to the procedure if you are not a patient. This particular procedure is one that mimics a natural breeding because both dogs are present. A. I. eliminates the risk of either dog rejecting and or injuring one another.
Safety is also our number one concern. A brucellosis test (STD blood test) is required by us for breeding to safely occur.
Lastly, we are exploring options for shipping directly to you or your vet. If you are interested in this option we can discuss how we can make it possible.
Thank you for considering Duke Studley as your dog’s future Royal Stud!
We are currently not looking for another puppy or first pick of the litter at this time, but definitely in the future! I am working towards becoming a breeder of merit through the AKC and l will need to own or lease a female in the future, but for now we are focusing all of our attention on Duke, just the way he likes it.
Our stud contract includes a two puppy litter guarantee. We also offer free advertising for Duke’s
litters on our website and other social media platforms.
Our stud fee depends on the breed of dog and the desired breeding option. A.I. side by side service requires an additional vet fee and over night stay requires a boarding fee.
lf you are interested in Duke Studley, please feel free to contact us so we can set up a time to talk more about becoming a part of your pack.
People Hi,
My name is Kristin and l am a boudoir photographer, art vendor, musician and proud dog mom! Duke gets attention wherever we go! He is definitely a show stopper and people ask me all the time, “Is that a show dog” and or “What kind of dog is that”?! He is a captivating beauty to see in person. I love witnessing people’s faces light up when they see him. And l know that l am biased because l am his mom and all, but he is truly the sweetest and most handsome poodle l have ever known!
My story…
When l was 17, l started working as a vet technician and loved my job! l was assisting the doctor with surgeries and office calls and was on my way to becoming a veterinarian. He was going to help me get into Cornell University and l was all set to go study there after high school graduation. That dream came to an end when all the sudden l became allergic to animals. I was devastated that l couldn’t even be around them anymore.
I decide to follow in my grandmother’s footsteps and go into teaching. l received my B.A. in Psychology, Elementary teaching certification, and also minored in music at William Paterson University. I was a Kindergarten teacher in northern New Jersey for over a decade before l moved to Delaware. I went back into teaching as a long term substitute in various DE school districts. It was then that l decided it was time to see if l could be a dog mom again and pursue my passions in life. l came in contact with a couple of standard poodles and to my surprise, l had no allergic reaction at all! lt was a miracle!
My goal as a breeder, is to create as many hypoallergenic dogs as possible so that other people who suffer from allergies can also become proud dog parents. And to build a community with other dog lovers and share the days in a life with a Duke.
Thank you for connecting with us!
Have a PAWesome day!
Kristin
